Tonight has been a sad one for Rebekah :( As you can see, her earring is pretty infected. Rebekah just got her ears pierced as a Christmas present from her pop-pop and it was very special for her. We are praying earnestly that the Lord will allow her to keep her earrings and that I won't have to take them out!

I hope she gets to keep her earrings. So pretty, but not worth it if they are causing painful problems.
Oh, poor thing! I remember my ears being pretty sensitive (Ivana and I took the plunge our first year of college!!!) But nothing that red. I sure hope she's feeling better soon.

Bring your child to the Doctor already! Those are really infected. It looks like she has cellulitis! She needs to get those earrings out and get on some antibiotics.
sorry - should have updated!!! We did go to the doctor and her ear looks good as new now. And the great thing is, she got to keep her earring in!!!
