Georgia!

We had a great trip to Georgia last week with Scott's parents. I have so much I could say, but I think I'd better stick to the highlights or you'll never make it to the end. It was not all a vacation - we were actually very busy, and Scott spoke 6 times - but as you will see, we did have a lot of fun! We had great fellowship at both Martinez and Washington chapels and met some really nice people and also got to see some good friends.

On this trip, we turned our mileage over to 190,000 - kind of fun to see! We also crossed the Missouri, Ohio, Mississippi, Tennessee, Chatahoochee, and Savannah rivers! (maybe I'll be logging some Geography hours???)

Our personal dock, compliments of the Barinowski lake house!

Not badly equipped either... there was a jet ski, kayak and pontoon :)

The porch! This was mom's favorite hangout, and where we sat with our coffee in our jibbies for as long as we could get away with it. We also sat here at night and watched the deer and birds and one fox!

There was a shower underneath for getting off all that red Georgia mud before entering the house!

A great plantation that we visited!

Pendulum swing at Frontier City, Augusta. This was so cool. Rebekah would swing and Scott would sit still, then when she would slow down, the pendulum effect would make Scott swing. (hmmm... science field trip too???)

Learning how to use a loom. (home-ec???)

This was so fun to play! Virtual volleyball! They also had soccer.

Space practice!!!

My cute little caterpillar :)
Scott's mom trying out the science experiments.

Fishing....

...at 5:30 am! Gotta get there when they're hungry!

The Riverwalk in Augusta

Danny's toes stained from the Georgia mud! (this is AFTER I scrubbed them)
Danny's big catch! Much larger than the ones he caught at Turkey Hill :)
This yellow catfish made us a yummy breakfast!

Rebekah was very upset that it's slime got on her sandals!

The fight!

A Georgia Sunrise :)
