It may be harder to "get through to someone" without an element of trust in the relationship. That's why so many are immediately turned off.
However, the Lord does work through a first encounter when you are just the vessel pointing the person to Christ. Either that person is searching right then or that Word is left to revisit him in a future time of need.
Hi! Everyone I just got a phone call. Austin, A student who is in 6th grade at my school was diagnosed with cancer last year. It's been a rough year, as in the summer it was discovered that 5 of his organs (spleen, gall bladder, liver, pancreas and stomach, I think I got them all right) were involved. Of course he could live without his spleen and gall bladder. So, he was put on transplant list and even had to fight an appeal in order to be able to request 3 organs.
Well, good news has come tonight, Austin will be under going a liver transplant tonight sometime. His parents are very positive about this transplant and have been relying on God through everything.
I ask now for prayers, for the surgeons and his family. Since, he is having the surgery sometime tonight we will not know anything until tomorrow afternoon.

Blessings to Scott.
I like that picture!
LOL
I some times feel that way with some of my kids :-) Today has been one of those days, it could be the fact that we are going on a field trip tomorrow.
Go Scott! Even witnessing to statues...Oh wait, shouldn't you be witnessing to real people?! (reminder: statues don't have souls...) :)
You should have been hitting him over the head. YOU know ' knock some sense into him' :)
Hee-hee! :)
Thank you so much for your note. The Lord knew I needed the encouragement!!!
