A gentleman, yet a boy...

Yesterday Danny took two lady friends out for coffee (one of which could drive)... They walk into World Cup as Danny holds the door for them. Then he says, "Ladies, order whatever you like!" After they all order, he adds 3 cream puffs, one for each of them. He was absolutely suave, and quite the gentleman!

......... yet earlier that day.........

in he runs from outside with a mischievous 'sweet' - grabs something and takes back off outside.
Look out the window, and what could you see? Danny standing over the slug, with the salt shaker - the salt GRINDER to be more precise - a. slow. and. painful. one. turn. at. a. time. I'm. going. to. burn. the. slug. to. death.

Ah, the joys of having an 11 yr. old - it's fun to watch him in both of his worlds!

He impresses me more and more when I talk to him! Did he buy their drinks and treats then since he added them to the order?

He did treat them! Funny thing though, he ended up 10cents over and did the whole, use a penny, take a penny - or 10! Haha.... oh well, guess we still need to teach him about tipping :-)

It is fun to watch kids go back and forth between stages and get little glimpses of what they will be like when they grow up.

The slug this is so funny!

I love it! :) I have to say, I am always very impressed with him and Rebecca! They have amazing manners and such servants' hearts; and it's obvious they both love the Lord.

Scott and Lynn-

Anna and I both woke up at 430 today, Sunday 8/23 with your family on our minds. We spent a bit of time praying for you and the kids as well as Todd, Anne and the rest of the family. We grieve your loss with you and rejoice with you in the love of Mr. Degroff for the Lord Jesus! May HE get the glory through this time.

I love that young man! He did a great job yesterday at the memorial service and so did Rebecca.

The Lord has blessed you greatly!
