Friends, I am SO excited! I have wanted to share some of my favorite books with you for awhile, and I am finally getting around to it!
For those of you who know my husband, you know that he is fond of buying boxes of his favorite books to give out to people! As a result, I have a few stragglers that I want to share with you! I have one book for you this week and one next week!
The first book is a missionary autobiography following the life of a godly man named Vernon Schlief, who was called into service for the Lord along with his wife, Gladys. Follow along their Great Adventure in Faith as you discover some of the amazing things God did through their lives, including the start of a Christian Servicemen's Center, a children's home, a radio station, and more!

We have quite a few missionary biographies on our list for school this year. We are enjoying them! We are in the middle of one about Cameron Townsend right now!
I love reading about missionaries and Christian heroes, but I have never read this one. Will have to check it out sometime. I could use a good edifying book to read right now.
This book is required reading for the fifth graders at Slidell Bible Chapel's school (Slidell Christian Academy). They love it!
